SoFi Technologies now meets all financial eligibility requirements for S&P 500 index inclusion.

The digital bank achieved four consecutive quarters of positive GAAP earnings to satisfy profitability mandates. The company also fulfills criteria for market capitalization, liquidity, and public float.

S&P Dow Jones Indices did not select SoFi during the most recent quarterly rebalancing. The index committee makes final selection decisions based on factors like sector representation.

Inclusion would trigger mandatory buying from index-tracking funds. This institutional demand could increase the stock's price and overall liquidity.
