Sasol Limited reported a 79% surge in basic earnings per share to R18.99 for the financial year ended June 30, 2026.
Headline earnings per share grew 9% to R38.31. Adjusted EBITDA rose 17% to R61 billion.
Sales volumes increased 4% due to improved operations and supportive macroeconomic conditions. Free cash flow declined 5% to R11.9 billion because of working capital movements.
Net debt fell 11% to US$3.3 billion, nearing the company's target of below US$3 billion. The board did not declare a final dividend to prioritize strengthening the balance sheet.
Management met or exceeded all production and sales metric commitments. The company will prioritize deleveraging before resuming dividend payments.
