Sony Music Entertainment is escalating its copyright infringement lawsuit against AI music generator Udio.
The company added more than 30,000 copyrighted sound recordings to its complaint.
Sony alleges Udio illegally used these recordings to train its AI models.
The lawsuit, first filed in June 2024, highlights a broader conflict between content creators and AI developers.
Universal Music and Warner Music previously settled with Udio.
Sony Music is now the sole major label plaintiff.
Sony identified the additional works after accessing Udio's training data during the discovery process.
