Stellantis N.V. and Mobileye announced a deal to integrate cloud-enhanced advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) into select vehicles. The first applications are scheduled to launch in 2027.
The partnership utilizes Mobileye’s Road Experience Management (REM) technology. This crowdsourced mapping system covers a vast network of roads across the U.S. and Europe.
The technology enables advanced features like intelligent lane-keeping on unmarked roads and hands-free, eyes-on driving. Mobileye (MBLY) shares rose significantly in premarket trading following the news.
