Suzlon Energy reported a nearly 6% decline in consolidated net profit for Q1 FY27. Net profit fell to ₹305 crore. This compares to ₹324 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations grew 22.5% year-over-year. Total revenue reached ₹3,819 crore. The company achieved its highest-ever first-quarter wind turbine deliveries of 506 MW.

Total expenses surged 28% during the quarter. The EBITDA margin contracted to 15.6%. This margin stood at 19.2% a year earlier.

Management attributed the margin pressure to temporary logistical disruptions and strategic investments. Suzlon shares fell nearly 10% as investors reacted to the shrinking margins.
