Suzlon Energy secured a 201.6 MW wind power project from Waaree Forever Energies on July 23, 2026. This project represents the first wind energy venture for the Waaree Group. The installation will take place in Andhra Pradesh using 64 S144 wind turbine generators. Each turbine features a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.

Suzlon will provide comprehensive EPC services including land acquisition and turbine supply. The agreement also covers commissioning and lifetime operations and maintenance services. This contract increases Suzlon’s total order book in Andhra Pradesh to nearly 1 GW.

Suzlon Energy shares fell 1.40% to Rs 52.21 during Thursday's afternoon session. The stock declined from its previous closing price of Rs 52.99.
