T1 Energy Inc. signed a strategic agreement to supply Clearway Energy Group with 641 megawatts of solar modules. The deal focuses on a U.S.-based supply chain using domestically produced solar cells.
T1 will manufacture the cells at its new fabrication plant in Austin, Texas. Construction on the Austin facility began in late 2025. Production at the site is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2027.
Final assembly will occur at T1’s existing 5-gigawatt facility in Dallas. The partnership provides Clearway with a traceable supply of American-made components. Financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed.
