Tencent Music Entertainment, Kakao Entertainment, and Line Music are partnering to launch a unified K-pop ranking called the "Global-K Chart."

The partners will launch the chart in June.

This initiative follows a memorandum of understanding signed in December 2025.

The collaboration establishes a global standard to measure K-pop popularity.

The chart aggregates streaming and engagement data across key Asian markets.

It features data from Kakao's Melon in South Korea.

It includes Tencent Music's QQ Music and Kugou in China and Southeast Asia.

It incorporates Line Music in Japan.

The system combines insights from hundreds of millions of users to track global K-pop trends.
