Famed investor Michael Burry disclosed a new short position against Tesla (TSLA). He initiated the trade at $416.22 on June 30. The entry occurred during a nearly 10% rally in the share price.
This move targets what Burry identifies as an AI and semiconductor bubble. He also opened short positions in Caterpillar, Nvidia, and the iShares Semiconductor ETF on June 30.
Burry did not disclose the size or structure of the Tesla short. He previously bet against the electric vehicle maker in 2021. His 2008 bet against the housing market remains his most famous trade.
