Tesla also reduced the price of the Model 3 Performance by 17%. The Performance model now starts at CAD 74,990. The company discontinued the previous entry-level Model 3 Long Range.
This strategy makes the Model 3 a direct price competitor to gasoline-powered sedans in Canada for the first time. The move aims to boost sales and accelerate domestic electric vehicle adoption.
