Barclays analyst Dan Levy projected on September 18 that Tesla would deliver approximately 475,000 vehicles in the third quarter. This figure surpasses the Bloomberg consensus estimate of 466,000. Barclays cited advancements in Tesla's full self-driving technology, which it expects to boost the company's performance.

Barclays' bullish outlook contrasts with more cautious views issued earlier in the week. On September 16, Goldman Sachs lowered its Q3 delivery forecast. The firm reduced its projection to 435,000 vehicles from an earlier 490,000. Goldman Sachs cited weaker-than-expected sales in the U.S., China, and Europe. Despite its positive delivery projection, Barclays maintains a neutral rating on Tesla's stock.
