Tesla officially confirmed the global availability of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised system via social media platform X. This announcement marks the first official confirmation of the driver-assistance technology for the Chinese market.
The company is currently collaborating with Chinese regulators to secure full system approval. Tesla is recruiting test technicians across nine major Chinese cities to localize and accelerate the software launch.
Tesla has not yet disclosed a specific software rollout date for local customers. Unlike the U.S. subscription model, FSD in China is currently offered as a one-time purchase.
