Tesla officially launched its Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised system in China on May 21, 2026.

The company targets a full fleet-wide rollout by the third quarter of 2026. This expansion remains subject to broader regulatory approval.

Tesla prepared for the launch by conducting road tests across nine Chinese cities. Analysts view the move as a catalyst for increased sales and heightened competition in the autonomous driving sector.

The system is available as a one-time purchase for 64,000 yuan. Tesla has not yet introduced a monthly subscription option.
