Tesla Inc. received approval to launch its Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised software in Belgium. This marks the fifth European Union country to greenlight the technology.

Belgium's transport minister issued the approval following successful testing. The decision comes one day after Denmark also approved the system for use.

Tesla aims to grow high-margin software revenue by establishing its autonomous technology in Europe. Safety data from the Netherlands indicates FSD-equipped vehicles had 3.5 times fewer collisions compared to human drivers.

Tesla shares rose in pre-market trading on Thursday following the news.
