Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) sold its entire remaining stake in British chip designer Arm Holdings.

Subsidiary TSMC Partners sold 1.11 million shares. The transaction occurred between April 28 and April 29. Shares sold at an average price of $207.65. The sale generated approximately $231 million in proceeds.

TSMC originally invested $100 million as a cornerstone investor in Arm’s September 2023 initial public offering. The company previously sold a portion of its holdings in early 2024. TSMC no longer holds any shares in the chip designer. The firm treated the position as a financial investment rather than a strategic stake.
