Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.’s Arizona plant generated approximately $514 million in profit. The facility completed its first full year of mass production in 2025. National Development Council head Yeh Chun-hsien reported the results.
The company reported a smooth trial run for the first fab. TSMC completed construction on a second fab. Mass production at the second site begins in the second half of 2027. Work on a third fab started in early 2026.
The project faces regional challenges including water scarcity. Labor availability also remains a concern.
