United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) reported consolidated revenue of NT$23.84 billion for July 2026. This figure represents an 18.98% increase compared to the same period last year. Revenue also grew 1.8% from the previous month.
The results mark the company’s highest monthly revenue in 45 months. Higher wafer prices and a favorable semiconductor market environment drove the performance.
Separately, UMC canceled nearly 7 million restricted shares on the same day. This action was part of a planned capital reduction exercise.
