This collaboration will extend technological solutions from Vale's advanced Conceição II Model Plant in Itabira.
The partnership leverages the success of the Conceição II plant. The Conceição II plant was implemented in 2024. It has since recorded a 25% increase in productivity. The plant also achieved a 40% growth in premium ore production. Vale plans to replicate these digital and automation technologies from the model plant across its other iron-ore processing facilities to improve operational performance and production quality.
