Nestle India reported a 47.9% year-over-year increase in net profit to ₹975.1 crore for the April-June quarter. Revenue from operations climbed 25.16% to ₹6,378.18 crore. Strong volume growth across all product categories fueled the revenue increase.
All four product groups achieved double-digit growth during the period. The company increased advertising spending by more than 40% to bolster brand presence. Management attributed the performance to disciplined brand investments and operational cost savings. Execution remained strong across e-commerce and organized retail channels.
Nestle India shares rose 4.07% to a new 52-week high on the NSE on July 22. The results indicate resilient consumer demand despite rising costs for cocoa and sugar.
