Saudi Aramco reported strong performance for the first quarter of 2026. Total hydrocarbon production reached 12.614 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (mboed). Output increased from 12.305 mboed recorded during the same period in 2025. Realized crude oil prices averaged $76.9 per barrel.

The downstream segment reported EBIT of $14.93 billion. This figure rose sharply from the $508 million reported in Q1 2025. Stronger refining and chemicals margins drove the turnaround.

The results provide a bullish signal for the global energy sector. This performance reflects high profitability for a key producer and influences sentiment for VDE investors.
