The Valbesina joint venture, comprising Valens, Besix, and InAdvance, is demanding €112 million from Belgian public broadcaster RTBF. The claim relates to the construction of Media Square, the broadcaster's new headquarters.
The consortium alleges that RTBF-mandated changes forced a two-year extension of the construction timeline. The joint venture also accuses RTBF of failing to pay invoices and neglecting a claim filed in 2023.
RTBF disputes the allegations and states that dialogue is ongoing. The broadcaster has already set aside financial provisions for the dispute. The Brussels French-speaking business court has appointed experts to investigate the matter.
