Walmart Overtakes Berkshire Hathaway Value, Reaching $1.02 Trillion Milestone

Walmart’s market capitalization exceeded Berkshire Hathaway’s for the first time since 2013.

Walmart reached a valuation of approximately $1.02 trillion at Monday’s market close. Berkshire Hathaway’s market value ended the session at $1.017 trillion.

Walmart shares have gained approximately 15% year-to-date in 2026. The retailer now ranks as the ninth-largest publicly traded company in the United States.
