Walmart is directing $2.4 billion toward expanding its operations in Mexico and Chile. The company is prioritizing international growth as the U.S. market reaches saturation.

The investment supports a plan to open 1,500 new stores in Mexico. This expansion is slated to occur between 2025 and 2029. Capital will also modernize Mexico's distribution network and in-store environments.

In Chile, Walmart will double the capacity of its Pudahuel distribution facility. The project will deploy more than 2,300 robots. These upgrades are expected to reduce delivery times by 25%.
