Firefly Aerospace subsidiary SciTec received a U.S. Space Force agreement to support new space-based missile defense architecture.

The contract is part of the Golden Dome program to develop a Space-Based Interceptor system by 2028.

The Space Force allocated up to $3.2 billion across 20 agreements with 12 companies for this defensive layer.

SciTec will provide AI-powered defense technologies and data fusion to counter maneuverable missile threats.

The award expands Firefly’s defense portfolio through a direct U.S. Space Force engagement.

Golden Dome represents a significant government investment in next-generation orbital defense capabilities.
