European defense technology leader Helsing will establish its first U.S. manufacturing facility in West Virginia. This plant will produce the HX-2, an AI-powered strike drone currently deployed in Ukraine.

The facility will produce over 2,000 HX-2 drones per month once fully operational. The U.S. Army and other allied forces have already conducted extensive testing on the platform.

Helsing selected the West Virginia location following a competitive nationwide search. The move onshores production to meet growing demand for affordable, mass-produced, and technologically advanced military systems.
