Northrop Grumman delivered the first production unit of its Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System Modernization (EGI-M) to the U.S. Air Force and Navy.

The LN-351 system provides reliable positioning and timing data in environments where GPS signals are jammed or unavailable. Initial deployment will equip the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor and Northrop Grumman E-2D Advanced Hawkeye.

The technology utilizes military-exclusive M-code GPS signals for enhanced anti-jamming and anti-spoofing protection. This delivery marks the start of the production phase for a development contract originally awarded in 2019.

Northrop Grumman has identified several other aircraft for future upgrades, including the RQ-4 Global Hawk and P-8 Poseidon. The program represents a long-term integration plan to maintain air superiority across the U.S. military fleet.
