Thales secured a $536.4 million (A$750 million) contract from the Australian government. The agreement covers the delivery of 268 additional Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles to the Australian armed forces.

The investment supports more than 290 jobs at the Thales facility in Bendigo, Australia. This deal enables Thales Australia and the Australian military to collaborate on a next-generation Bushmaster with enhanced capabilities.

This order highlights a trend of rising defense spending among U.S. allies. Such contracts provide revenue visibility for aerospace and defense firms and reinforce a positive outlook for the sector.
