Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP filed a securities class action lawsuit against Zoetis Inc. and its executives. The suit alleges the company made false and misleading statements regarding its companion animal products between January 14, 2025, and May 6, 2026.

The lawsuit claims Zoetis failed to disclose weakening prescription trends for the canine pain drug Librela. It also alleges undisclosed market share losses for the parasiticide Simparica Trio. Furthermore, the company reportedly concealed declining shares for dermatology products Apoquel and Cytopoint.

Zoetis announced disappointing first-quarter results and reduced full-year guidance on May 7, 2026. The company attributed these results to a challenging operating environment. Zoetis shares fell 21.5% on the day of the announcement.
