AbbVie completed its acquisition of Apogee Therapeutics for a total equity value of approximately $10.9 billion. Shareholders received $135.11 per share in cash.
The deal adds zumilokibart, a treatment for atopic dermatitis, to AbbVie’s immunology portfolio. This acquisition also includes a clinical asset for asthma to drive long-term growth.
AbbVie reaffirmed its full-year and third-quarter adjusted diluted EPS guidance. The updated outlook now includes the dilutive impact of the transaction.
