BYD will reach 10,000 operational Flash Charging stations across China on August 28.
The company doubled its fast-charging network in less than five months. It reported 5,000 stations at the beginning of April.
BYD will hold a ceremony on August 28 at its flagship station in Shenzhen. This milestone marks the halfway point toward a 2026 goal of 20,000 stations.
The network supports the company’s increasing electric vehicle sales. Latest batteries can charge from 10% to 97% in nine minutes at these stations.
