BYD’s premium off-road brand, Fang Cheng Bao, launched flash-charging editions of the Bao 5 and Bao 8 SUVs. These models feature the Disus P Ultra intelligent hydraulic suspension system. An 800V high-voltage platform enhances charging efficiency and off-road performance. This launch completes the brand-wide upgrade to latest charging technology.
BYD confirmed the Shark hybrid pickup will enter the Chinese domestic market this year. The Shark will integrate into the Fang Cheng Bao product line. This model originally debuted in overseas markets like Mexico in May 2024. The move marks BYD’s entry into China’s competitive new energy pickup segment.
