BYD launched the Qin Max B-segment sedan on August 13, 2026. The flagship model features the company's latest flash-charging technology. BYD designed the vehicle to target younger consumers. This launch follows a year-over-year sales decline for the Qin series through July 2026.
BYD also introduced an entry-level version of the Fang Cheng Bao (FCB) Ti 3 electric SUV. The company recorded its highest monthly sales of 2026 in July. Exports surged 124.3% during that month. Domestic sales slipped despite the overall record performance.
