BYD secured a procurement agreement with Car Inc for 100,000 new energy vehicles. Car Inc operates as one of China's largest car rental platforms. This deal expands a previous partnership that saw Car Inc purchase nearly 30,000 BYD vehicles in 2025.
The collaboration includes installing BYD flash charging facilities at eligible Car Inc rental locations. This initiative supports the Flash Charging China strategy to establish 20,000 fast-charging stations by the end of the year. The project aims to enhance the charging infrastructure and user experience for the rental market.
