BYD’s premium brand, Denza, officially unveiled the Denza Z flagship electric grand tourer at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. This launch marks BYD’s entry into the high-performance luxury segment traditionally dominated by European manufacturers.
The Denza Z is positioned as a direct competitor to established sports cars like the Porsche 911. The all-electric coupe features an expected power output of over 750kW. This performance exceeds 1,000 hp.
The vehicle has a claimed 0-100km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of under two seconds. It features classic long-bonnet GT proportions and utilizes an adaptive suspension system to manage its extreme performance.
