Li Auto officially unveiled its in-house M100 smart driving chip.
The flagship Li L9 Livis SUV will debut the hardware on May 15. The M100 chip utilizes a 5-nanometer manufacturing process. Dual-chip integration in the L9 Livis provides 2,560 TOPS of total computing power.
This development places Li Auto alongside domestic rivals Nio and Xpeng in proprietary silicon production. The CEO stated the in-house design aims to overcome supplier limitations, mirroring Appleβs full-stack strategy. Shares rose in pre-market trading as investors reacted to the upcoming vehicle launch.
