Samsung Electronics captured a 39.4% share of the global DRAM market by revenue in the second quarter of 2026. This performance marks an increase from its 38.5% share in the previous quarter. Market research firm TrendForce reported the findings.

Samsung's DRAM revenue surged 63.4% quarter-over-quarter to $60.98 billion. The overall global DRAM market grew by 59.5% during the same period.

Booming demand for artificial intelligence chips drove the significant industry growth. Samsung effectively capitalized on this trend to extend its lead in the memory sector.
