ASML began construction on a second major industrial campus at Brainport Industries Campus North in Eindhoven. This expansion aims to increase manufacturing capacity to meet rising global semiconductor demand. The site will eventually accommodate up to 20,000 workplaces.
The multi-phase project expects to complete its first phase by 2029. This initial stage will house at least 3,000 employees.
The facility will feature a next-generation flow factory for high-scale production of chip-making equipment. CEO Christophe Fouquet stated the expansion provides the space needed to support global customers and continue innovating.
