Suzlon Group will invest ₹10,000 crore to develop 1,325 MW of wind energy projects in Andhra Pradesh. The developments will be located in the Rayadurgam constituency of Anantapur district. This initiative is expected to generate 4,000 direct and indirect jobs.
The project involves partnerships with renewable energy firms Tata Power and Waaree Energy. This investment supports Suzlon’s broader goal to add 5 GW of renewable capacity in the state by 2030.
The company is also launching new S144 wind turbine blade production lines in Anantapur. Suzlon already operates a significant manufacturing hub in the district.
